Tokyo Ramen: Reviews & Ratings

I am not kidding when I say this is the best ramen I've ever had! I used to not like ramen when i would go to kopan ramen or slurpin ramen until i come to this spot. The workers are very generous. The place is very chill. Besides ramen, i also ordered spicy edamame and salmon roll. Everything was delectable!! This place will always be my go to!

Posting this 8 months late, but this spot left a great impression. The food was delicious and reasonably priced--definitely recommend the fried oysters and sushi rolls, both were standout dishes. Not really a fan of the robot waiters--felt a bit gimmicky--but the quality of the food made up for it. Solid place for good eats at a good value.

A quality ramen spot out here in Diamond Bar. Tokyo Ramen shares the same parking lots as BBQ Stop & Sunright Tea. We've seen Tokyo Ramen but never took the time to check it out. Good first impression when we arrived on a weekend night. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was about 80% full. The orders are done on a IPad and you send it to the kitchen when you're ready. The restaurant is vibrant with decor and some TVs are available to watch while you wait. The menu offers multiple Ramen and sushi selection. The Ramen is also customizable to your preference and liking, which is nice perk. Once the order was sent to kitchen we didn't wait long for our order. It's delivered by the Robot Servers. Grab the food and tap the screen you've received your items. I ordered the Black Ramen and we ordered a Salmon Avocado Roll to share. First impression and presentation of the food was impressive. As for taste of the Black Ramen. It was packed with flavor and the amount of pork was generous. Some ramen places can be stingy or skimp on the protein, but Tokyo Ramen had plenty of pork in that bowl. The Salmon Avocado Roll was fresh and a hefty size for a 5pc roll. When you need something from the waitstaff you just hit the bottom on the iPad. When we received the check we were also given complimentary dessert. Great customer service! Overall, The portions, the prices and service were supreme. I'd comeback for another bowl of ramen!

Where to go on a chilly evening? Tokyo Ramen is the place!! Ramen, sushi, & appetizers (and more). Service was attentive and the food server was cute and polite. You order on an electronic pad. Robot delivers the food. Human service was polite and attentive too. Restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening. Black Ramen with pork (chashu) was yummy. Broth was warm and not too salty. Gyozas were meaty, crispy, and good. Will have to try sushi next time.

One of the best ramens that I had in Socal. The broth is deep. It touches the soul. The pork is simply delicious. I wish I could eat more but I need to lose weight...the rolls are delicious as well. I also like the shrimp croquet. The food is good overall but I would say ramen is the best. Will definitely come back for ramen. Parking is ok. Bathroom is clean. God bless us all! Psalm 104:15 wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts.

Located in a strip mall on Lemon and Colima. Parking can get busy during certain hours/times. We came early on a weekday night (5ish) and there was plenty of parking. Inside you're greeted by a modern and clean restaurant space. They have a sushi bar area and main dining area. A couple of TV's playing Japanese karaoke type Christmas songs when we came in - made it entertaining. Lol Service was good. They also have a robot server that brings your dishes to you. We got a couple of ramen bowls - ted and black. Both were very good - broth was rich & flavorful, and had a good amount of ingredients. The pork and brisket were also very good and tender. Tried a little of the unagi bowl and enjoyed it. Unagi tasted fresh and came with a good amount. Overall, they have a good selection of appetizers and entrees. I'll have to come back again for more.

Cute little place in Diamond Bar with good ramen and quick service. They even had a robot to bring the food to you, wearing a Christmas bow! My red ramen was just the right amount of spicy and the cha sui was super tender! The rest of our group had the black ramen (garlic) with brisket - again, super tender! - and the eel bowl with rice and seaweed salad. Everything tasted great and prices were reasonable. Good for date night or just to get some ramen in a cold night.

My coworkers and I came here for sushi and we had a really fun experience. There was a robot that would bring you the food and would sing, which was super fun! The sushi was also really great. My roll came with super fresh fish and had a nice spicy sauce on top. The spicy edamame were also spiced very well. The service was not the best, hence the 4 stars. When we walked in many tables still needed to be cleared. We also waited quite a while for our food and the wait staff needed to be flagged down if we needed something. I think there were only 2 people working while we were there, so it seemed to be a staffing related issue. Otherwise, we had a lovely time and I would definitely return!

I would say this this restaurant isn't your traditional ramen joint. We walked in here for an early Saturday dinner and there wasn't much people at all. We ordered through the iPad on the table, so ordering was very easy! Although, it did oddly take a long while to get our order. We ordered kaarage and two black ramen bowls. The kaarage came out first from the little cat server. It's not very often you would see the automated "servers". Starting with the kaarage, the batter was really unusual. It wasnt really that tasty, so this was a big miss. The chicken itself was fine, but the crunch could have been so much better. Then came our black ramen bowls. First glance, the ramen noodles don't really look like the authentic ramen noodles? They kind of look like the lo mein texture. Although, I did really like the broth! The broth was very flavorful and super aromatic with the garlic. I actually liked the broth the most which made the ramen taste good. I would have given this restaurant a 3 star rating, but the ramen was pretty good and the service was attentive.
